Hi, I’m Ayla.
I was born and raised on the beautiful Azores Islands. I have German nationality and a Turkish name — a mix that reflects my curiosity about people, cultures, and stories.
My love for photography started early. At first, I was fascinated by the tiny details of the world through macro photography — water drops, small animals, textures — discovering how much beauty exists in the smallest moments.
I’ve always had a deep love for animals and nature. Besides photography, I work as a hiking guide on the island and spend much of my time outdoors. I also have a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and even a sheep!
Today, what I enjoy most is capturing genuine moments with the people in front of my lens — letting things unfold naturally and preserving memories in a timeless and honest way.
